Post 1.18-patch adventures.

Hey guys.

Time for some post 1.18 patch impressions. Let's just say I am highly impressed. While there are still a few rough spots we know they'll be evened out in 1.19. The game is definetely picking up though and I have been having a wonderful time.

I've been doing the rank 45+ dungeon quite a few times with my linkshell.

What's this?

Euw, the boss is a big ugly Ogre.

Needless to say we have wiped to the Ogre countless times. Quite tricky to figure out the best strategy.

They tweaked the lighting and shadow engine it seems, so beautiful now and everything runs smoother.

We finally figured out a strategy for the Ogre battle.

OMG we won, yay! Look at how low our MP is, I had run out like 1 minute before we killed it. Was nerve wrecking trying to regen MP and to keep our tank alive.

Wait a second, that wasn't the final boss, there is more to do!

You have got to be kidding me, a dual-wielding demon?1 *runs for the hills screeching*

Boy what an insane battle. There are the two powerful Ahriman floating around, like a bazillion skeletons and those damn ghosts keep teleporting in and out. Not to mention the crazy demon going all ballistic...

The skeletons got me. ;__;

We haven't won this fight yet. You need to hurry through the dungeon, beat the Ogre fast enough (which is hard enough by itself), then get past an entire level of more mobs and face off against the demon and his minions. Some linkshells have won the battle now and I saw a good strategy for it, but damn it seems exhausting. xD

After we finished that run I went exploring in Coerthas and found this nice lake.

Then I found Bebe in Gridania.
